Rules of the Hive
The Hive is a free place for regular folks to share what worked. These rules keep it friendly and safe. They're also our terms of use.
The short version
- Be kind. No insults, threats, hate or bullying. Disagree politely.
- Share real things. Things you made, real questions, honest answers.
- No spam or scams. No ads, get-rich-quick pitches, fake reviews or sneaky links.
- Keep it clean. Nothing sexual, gory or illegal. The Hive is for everyone.
- Protect privacy. Never post anyone's address, phone number, ID or private photos, including your own.
- Links, not programs. Share apps and code as links (like GitHub). Don't ask people to download and run unknown files.
Who can join
You must be at least 13 years old to join. Reading the Hive is open to everyone.
How posts work
- New posts get a quick check before everyone can see them. Comments show right away.
- Anyone signed in can press Report. We look at every report.
- We can hide or remove anything that breaks these rules, and close accounts that keep breaking them.
- You can delete your own posts and comments any time.
What you share
What you post stays yours. By posting, you let UniHive show it on this site. Only post pictures and work you have the right to share.
Advice from the Hive
Answers come from regular people and are shared for learning only. They aren't professional money, legal, health or safety advice. For anything serious, talk to a pro. Tools and links people mention belong to other companies; check them yourself before you pay for anything or download something.
The fine print
UniHive is free and provided as-is, without any promise that it will always be available or error-free. We may update these rules; the date below shows the latest version.
