Privacy at UniHive
Plain words: we keep as little about you as we can, we never sell it, and we never show your email.
Free tools and guides
You don't need an account for the guides or free tools. Things you type into the tools (like a budget, a quote or a timesheet) stay on your own device. They are not sent to us.
If you join the Hive
- When you sign in with Google, Google tells our sign-in system your name, email and profile picture. We use your email only to keep you signed in.
- Other people only see your Hive name: your first name and last initial (you can change it).
- Your email is never shown on the site, and we never sell or share it.
- If you sign in with an email link, we use your email only to send that link.
What is public
Posts, pictures, comments and votes you share on the Hive can be seen by anyone, along with your Hive name. Please don't share private information.
Who helps us run it
Our sign-in and Hive posts are stored with Supabase, a database company. Like every website, our web host keeps basic server logs (such as which pages were loaded) to keep the site running and safe.
Deleting your stuff
You can delete your own posts and comments any time. To delete your whole account, sign in on the Hive page and press Delete my account. We'll remove your account and everything you posted within a few days.
Kids
You must be at least 13 to join the Hive.
